Welcome to the Lacombe Minor Baseball Association (LMBA) Registration Information homepage. The LMBA has a strong history off providing baseball opportunities for athletes, coaches, umpires and parents, and looks forward to another successful season.

The LMBA is hosting their Annual General Meeting (AGM) on Tuesday, February 13th, 7:00pm at the Lacombe Memorial Centre (5214 50thAvenue). Everyone in attendance will receive a $25.00 discount off of their childs registration fee if they are registered within a week following the AGM (**Rally Cap excluded).

Registration for Competitive AA (Mosquito, Pee Wee, Bantam & Midget) will be open until Friday, March 9th
Registration for Community A (Mosquito, Pee Wee, Bantam & Midget) will be open until Friday, April 13th.
Please click on the links below for specific information about each division, including age category, player registration fee, registration deadline, Competitive AA and Community A team and league information. To assist you in determining which division link you should select, please see the list of divisions below and the year of birth associated with that division for the upcoming season.
Rally Cap: 2011, 2012 & 2013
Rookie: 2009 & 2010
Mosquito: 2007 & 2008
Pee Wee: 2005 & 2006
Bantam: 2003 & 2004
Midget: 2000, 2001 & 2002
For the Mosquito, Pee Wee, Bantam and Midget divisions, players can register in the Competitive or Community category. Players that register and tryout for a Competitive team, but do not make the team will be encouraged to play with the Community team in that division. For further information about the differences between Competitive and Community please click on the appropriate division homepage.
Parents that are considering moving their child up a division (eg. Pee Wee aged player trying out for Bantam) must be aware of the following criteria.
Underage players must register in their proper age category and then contact the Directors of both the division they are registered in and the one they would like to tryout for, informing these Directors of their intention to move up / tryout in the higher division. If a player wants to be moved up to a Community A team in the higher division, the Director of the higher division will contact you after the registration deadline to let you know if there is room based on the number of players registered in the division. Moving a player up a division must not leave the team(s) in the players division associated with their year of birth with a short roster or the division they are moving up to with too many players on the roster. This will be determined by the LMBA Executive on a per division basis.
If the player wants to tryout for a Competitive AA team, they must evaluate as one of the top 4 players in order to make that team. If the player does not make the Competitive AA team in the higher division, they will have the opportunity to play on a Community team in the higher division (if there's room on the roster) or play in the division associated with their year of birth. Moving a player up a division must not leave the team(s) in the players division associated with their year of birth with a short roster or the division they are moving up to with too many players on the roster. This will be determined by the LMBA Executive on a per division basis.
Please see the following Baseball Alberta link, Player Transfer Guidelines, if you are interesting in registering your child in the Lacombe Minor Baseball Association (LMBA), however, the LMBA is not your home association (eg. a player wants to play in Lacombe but lives in Blackfalds where there is a Blackfalds Minor Baseball Association).
If you are applying for funding assistance through FCSS, Kidsport or any other program, please contact the email@example.com before you register. The LMBA policy is to allow registration upon confirmation from the program that you have made the application for assistance.
